In light of the 2018 edition of CHART in August, the fair appoints a new director who lays out a vision for the fair with an expanded design section and site-specific installations.

April 25, 2018, Copenhagen - CHART ART FAIR announces Nanna Hjortenberg as the new Director. Currently the Business Development Director at Golden Days, Hjortenberg will begin her new role on 1 May 2018. The new director is pleased to share the fairs additional location for the 2018 edition, expanding the layout and focus for the exhibitors and fair guests.
CHART 2018 will take place from 31 August to 2 September at Kunsthal Charlottenborg and expands with a dedicated design section at Den Frie Centre for Contemporary Art, among one of the most influential Danish art nouveau buildings.

Hjortenberg was the Business Development Director at Golden Days, a non-profit cultural organisation that emits the knowledge, culture and history of Copenhagen through two annual festivals, Golden Days and Bloom. Within her role here, she has taken part in developing and launching Bloom, a new festival fusing art, music, and natural science. Previously, she served as Head of Exhibitions at the Danish Architecture Centre, responsible for national and international exhibitions, lectures and educational programming. Hjortenberg holds a Masters degree from Goldsmith College in London as well as a Master of Philosophy in Art History from University of Copenhagen. She has been active in art and culture for the past 10 years, presenting the first Zaha Hadid exhibition in Denmark (2013 DAC) and the Danish exhibitions at the Architecture Biennale in Venice (2008 and 2010).
