Mexican artist Bosco Sodi will present Muro, his first public art installation in New York. Resembling a long wall made of 1,600 removable clay timbers, the installation will invite viewers to remove one timber each, resulting in a communally co-owned work of art. Muro's message, inherent in its appearance and its removal, is inextricably linked to civic participation, emphasizing the power of shared responsibility and actions of individuals.
Bosco Sodi's installation is featured in El Economista, The New York Times, The Washington Examiner and more.
